Seller Portal User Guide

Welcome to the Space Foundry Marketplace Seller Portal User Guide! We are happy to have you on our platform as a seller!

Here are a few things that you might want to know before you start selling!


1. Required Information

In order to sell on the Space Foundry Marketplace, you have to supply some information about your store.

This is the first thing you will see when you enter the seller portal for the first time:

The required information includes:

  • PayPal Email (as payment method)
    • This does NOT have to be a Business PayPal account. It can be a personal account as well.
  • Address
  • City
  • Country
  • State
  • Zip Code
  • Contact
  • Short Description

This information can be inputted on your My Account and Payment Details Page:


2. Production Creation

You are now ready to create your first product listing on the Space Foundry Marketplace!

This is what you can expect the Product Details section of the Product Creation page to look like:

3. Order Processing

You will get an order notification when a new order comes in. Your Orders page will have a new item in the order list that looks similar to the image below without the blacked out text.

You have 24 hours from this notification to deliver the item to the customer. If the 24 hour time limit passes, then the customer has the option to cancel the order for a full refund.


This is what you can expect the Order page to look like.


Order Fulfillment and Payout

On the Order page you have the option to either Accept & Fulfill or Reject the order.

This is put in place so if there is an item that you forgot to disable or the item cannot be gifted, then you could reject the order and no harm is done.

  • Accept & Fulfilling will initiate an instant payout to your PayPal account
  • Rejecting will restock the quantity of the item and initiate a refund to the customer

Gifting Process

After Accept & Fulfilling the order, you will then deliver the item to the customer as soon as possible.

The delivery process is very simple and involves gifting the ordered items to the customer.

 

This is an example gift form for a Drake Dragonfly Black - ILW2950.

Use the following information from the Customer Details section of the Order page to fill out the gift form:

  • Recipient name = Name
  • Recipient email = Email

Updating Order to Delivered

After gifting the item to the customer, you must update the order by checking the delivered box and the delivery date. This shows that you have delivered the item to the customer.
